About Project Team Wisdom

Project Team Wisdom is a collection of anecdotal posts, each related to project management and team resource management.  The posts have been assembled from companies and organizations developing products, servicing customers, and managing projects.  (See Recent Posts and Archive in the sidebar.)  Each year, these stories are printed in a booklet and sent to all contributors free of charge.  That’s right, free!

We’d love to hear from you!  Do you have a story you’d like to share?  Somethng that has helped your project team?  A simplification?  A new idea?  If so, please register and submit a new post.  Make sure it’s something beneficial to others in project teams.  Next year, we’ll send you a booklet with all the project wisdom we’ve collected here.  Free, just for contributing!

And while you’re here, consider getting involved by posting comments for each of the project wisdom posts.  Others will benefit from them, and they will help the editorial team that assembles the booklet.

Here’s an example of a new post:

Recently we stumbled upon a better brick-making technique.  Our brick makers had always been required to produce our bricks without straw.  A little outdated, to say the least.  Yes, it worked, but there were always a few fanatics screaming, “let my people go!”  The tally of bricks had been decreasing as employees left for a rival company, The Promised Land.  It was getting unbearable, but managers finally figured it out.  When we began supplying straw to employees, they loved us!  And if they didn’t, the lash took care of that.  Productivity is up!

What’s in it for you?

  1. A link to your web site (feel free to add one at the end of your story)
  2. Your company name on the post
  3. Your name in print!

Simple enough, right?  We hope you’ll consider posting something that has helped your team.

We look forward to hearing from you!
